In this study, we present a robust approach that concurrently manages crystal growth and defect passivation within the perovskite layer through the introduction of a small molecule additive─allantoin. The precise regulation of crystal growth in the presence of allantoin yields perovskite films characterized by enhanced morphology, larger grain size, and improved grain orientation. Notably, the carbonyl and amino groups present in allantoin passivate under-coordinated Pb and I defects, respectively, through molecular interactions.

The influence of stress jump conditions on a steady, fully developed two-layer magnetohydrodynamic electro-osmotic nanofluid in the microchannel, is investigated numerically. A nanofluid is partially filled into the microchannel, while a porous medium, saturated with nanofluid, is immersed into the other half of the microchannel. The Brinkmann-extended Darcy equation is used to effectively explain the nanofluid flow in the porous region.

Aim: To investigate the effect of 20-hydroxyecdysone on steroidogenic pathway genes and plasma progesterone, and its potential impact on vascular functions.

Methods: Chimeric mice with humanized liver were treated with 20-hydroxyecdysone for 3 days, and hepatic steroidogenic pathway genes and plasma progesterone were measured by transcriptomics and GC-MS/MS, respectively. Direct effects on muscle and mesenteric arterioles were assessed by myography.

Currently, little is known about the time-dependent evolution of human immunodeficiency virus-1 (HIV-1) circulating recombinant forms (CRF) 01_AE, a dominant recombinant form associated with HIV-1 epidemics worldwide. Since gag is a highly immunodominant HIV-1 protein, we performed a comparative analysis of the CRF01_AE gag protein's time-dependent changes and evolution. A total of 3105 HIV-1 CRF01_AE gag sequences representing 17 countries from the timeline 1990-2017 were obtained.
