Parental depression is a well-established risk factor for depression in offspring. This intergenerational transmission involves a diverse array of mechanisms, both familial and environmental, working at different levels to increase depression in offspring. To identify modifiable mechanisms for depression among this heterogeneity, recent work has turned to neurobiological measures as more proximal indicators of risk.

In this study, we established this link by using small-angle X-ray scattering tensor tomography (SASTT) to investigate nanostructural parameters in 3D such as mineral particle orientation and thickness. As a model system, rat femoral bone with a bio-resorbable implant (ultra-high purity magnesium) was used.

Objectives: Examine the HCRU and cost burden among treatment-naïve PWH with and without MHD initiating single tablet antiretroviral regimens (STRs) and multi-tablet regimens (MTRs).
Methods: A retrospective database analysis of the US Medicaid population from Anlitiks' All Payor Claims database between 1 January 2016 and 30 June 2023 was conducted.
Depression is transmitted within families, but the mechanisms involved in such transmission are not clearly defined. A potential marker of familial risk is the neural response to errors, which may play a role in depression symptoms and is known to be partially heritable. Here, 97 mother-daughter dyads completed a Flanker task while electroencephalography markers of error monitoring were recorded: the error-related negativity (ERN) and response-locked delta and theta power.

The capability of robots to similarly grasp and perform in-hand manipulation of objects is critical for their use in the ever changing human environment, and for their ability to replace manpower. In recent decades, significant effort has been put in order to enable in-hand manipulation capabilities to robotic systems.
