Background: Mental health and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) are critical in healthcare systems, especially in low- and middle-income countries. Several policies are planned or designed by health stakeholders to address the mental health needs of people affected by NTDs. Still, the impact of such policies seems to be of no consequence.

The efficiency of the termite Macrotermes bellicosus at digesting lignocellulose is due to its gut bacterial symbionts. We report the metagenome-assembled genome sequence of Burkholderia cepacia UJ_SKK_1.2, reconstructed from metagenomes produced from gut microbiota.

Background: Allergic rhinitis (AR) is a multifocal IgE-mediated type I hypersensitivity reaction involving nasal mucosa characterized by excessive sneezing, watery rhinorrhea, nasal itching, nasal stuffiness, and eyes itching. Tympanometry is a simple, rapid, and objective test that can be easily carried out. The use of tympanometry in clinical setting can improve detection of middle ear effusion and other middle ear abnormalities.
