Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a progressive disease characterized by proliferative remodeling and obliterative narrowing of the pulmonary vasculature. While outcomes have improved with existing treatments targeting 3 main pathways, there remains a critical need for novel therapies that address different and novel mechanisms of PAH. Sotatercept, recently Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved, is a groundbreaking fusion protein that binds to activin and growth differentiation factors, rebalancing antiproliferative and pro-proliferative signals to reverse remodeling in both the pulmonary vasculature and the right ventricle.

Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) stands as a safe, portable, and cost-effective imaging modality for swift bedside patient examinations. Specifically, lung ultrasonography (LUS) has proven useful in evaluating both acute and chronic pulmonary conditions. Despite its clinical value, automatic LUS interpretation remains relatively unexplored, particularly in multi-label contexts.

Happy new ears: Rapid adaptation to novel spectral cues in vertical sound localization.

Humans can adapt to changes in the acoustic properties of the head and exploit the resulting novel spectral cues for sound source localization. However, the adaptation rate varies across studies and is not associated with the aftereffects commonly found after adaptation in other sensory domains. To investigate the adaptation' rate and measure potential aftereffects, our participants wore new-ears to alter the spectral cues for sound localization and underwent sensorimotor training to induce rapid adaptation.
