We used data from a sample of ethnically diverse first-time parents ( = 186) in the United States to examine differences between mothers' and fathers' challenging parenting behaviors (CPB) when infants were 9 months old as well as covariates of CPB. We also examined associations between CPB and infants' social competence and behavior problems when they were 12 months old. Results showed no differences between mothers and fathers in the level of CPB with their infants.

However, not much is known about the impact of differential aspects of chronic work-related stress on levels of depression when investigating geriatric and registered nurses. The aim of this study was to analyse the relationship between various aspects of chronic work stress and levels of depression in geriatric and registered nurses.

Objective: Prostate Health Index (PHI) is an advanced PSA-based test for early detection of PCa. The present study aim was to investigate the potential improvement of diagnostic accuracy of PHI by its combination with suitable discriminative microRNAs (miRNAs).
MicroRNAs (miRNAs/miRs) act as markers for various cancers, including bladder cancer (BC). Plasma miRNAs are potential biomarkers for the noninvasive diagnosis and long‑term surveillance of BC. The aim of the present study was to identify diagnostically reliable miRNAs in the plasma and examine their potential monitoring capacity.

The evaluation included 39 articles published from the beginning of 2010 until September 2017 and searched in PubMed. The heterogeneity of studies, due to their clinicopathological variability, including insufficient consideration of diagnostic and prognostic biomarker guidelines and missing internal and external validation of data, do not currently allow the recommending of a useful miRNA marker as diagnostic or prognostic tool in BC.
