Dasatinib-Induced Gynecomastia: A Case Report.

Gynecomastia, the abnormal enlargement of male breast tissue, is a rare side effect associated with dasatinib. This drug is used in the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). We present a case of dasatinib-induced gynecomastia in a 52-year-old gentleman with CML who developed bilateral breast enlargement and tenderness after approximately four months of dasatinib treatment.

Experience in developing and implementing the self-directed learning assessment tools among undergraduate medical students.

Background: The upcoming changes in digital technology have motivated health professionals to be lifelong learners and be updated with the recent trends. Self-directed learning (SDL) is one of the approaches for making undergraduate students health/ profession students lifelong learners. Moreover, the SDL approach allows learners to work in a team and gain social skills.

Sensitizing nursing faculty about formation of professional identity: Exploration of lessons learnt at a nursing institute in India.

Background We initiated a conversation regarding the concept of professional identity formation (PIF) with faculty of Institute of Nursing at our university through a participatory workshop. We report the planning and conduct of the workshop, as well as lessons learnt from the discussions in the workshop. Methods We designed and implemented a day-long workshop for 28 nursing faculty at Institute of Nursing, Bhaikaka University, Gujarat.
