Cellular structures are increasingly utilized in modern engineering due to their exceptional mechanical and physical properties. In this study, the deformation and failure mechanisms of two energy-efficient lattice structures-hexagonal honeycomb and re-entrant honeycomb-were investigated. These structures were manufactured using additive stereolithography with light-curable Durable Resin V2.

The increasing complexity and production volume of glass-fiber-reinforced polymers (GFRP) present significant recycling challenges. This paper explores a potential use for mechanically recycled GFRP by blending it with high-density polyethylene (HDPE). This composite could be applied in products such as terrace boards, pipes, or fence posts, or as a substitute filler for wood flour and chalk.

Purpose: In Germany, approximately one-third of the harvested donor corneas are not suitable for transplantation, mostly due to insufficient endothelial cell density (ECD). The ECD can only be reliably determined after harvesting and processing of the cornea. Our group has previously developed a predictive model for corneal ECD: \( {Predicted\, ECD} = 2919-6^{\ast}\;{age}\; [{years}]-189\; [{if\, male}]\\ -7^{\ast}\;{death-to-explantation\, interval\,} [{hours}]\\ - 378\; [{if\, pseudophakic}] \;{cells/mm}^2 \).

Introduction: Research demonstrates that child maltreatment can negatively impact adolescent peer relationships. It is not well understood, however, how the type of maltreatment and its timing (when it occurs) affects the dimensions of peer relationship quality (i.e.

Purpose: Patients with intracranial gliomas frequently seek for complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), in addition to guideline-directed therapy. In this study, we therefore assessed patients' information needs regarding treatment and support, and evaluated their attitudes toward experimental trials and alternative therapies.

Methods: A prospective, cross-sectional, descriptive survey was conducted in our center.
