Clinical Manifestations.

Background: Frequent and remote cognitive assessment may improve sensitivity to subtle cognitive decline associated with preclinical Alzheimer's disease (AD). Our objective was to evaluate the feasibility, reliability, and construct validity of repeated remote memory assessment in late middle-aged and older adults.

Method: Participants were recruited from longitudinal aging cohorts to complete medial temporal lobe-based memory paradigms (Object-In-Room Recall [ORR], Mnemonic Discrimination for Objects and Scenes [MDT-OS], Complex Scene Recognition [CSR]) using the neotiv application on a smartphone or tablet at repeated intervals over one year.

The objective of this study is to evaluate the extent of sessions with non-identical stimuli on performance and determine if study design or amyloid PET status moderates the impact of practice.

Increasing Printable Solid Loading in Digital Light Processing Using a Bimodal Particle Size Distribution.

Digital light processing (DLP) is rapidly growing in popularity as an additive manufacturing method for the fabrication of composite structures, and is an effective way to prepare high-resolution filled parts, such as ceramic green parts or composite magnets. Yet, higher solid loadings of resins and the resulting dramatic increases in viscosity limit DLP printing for applications that depend upon maximization of filler content. In this work, we investigate the capacity of a bimodal particle size distribution to enable the printing of a photosensitive resin containing up to 70 vol% of fillers.

Description of School Outcomes Among Children With Traumatic Brain Injuries, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Concussion Surveillance System Pilot.

Background: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a common injury in children. Though research on youth TBI has largely focused on high school students, this study describes selected school outcomes after TBI in the past 12 months among children aged 5-17 years.

Methods: Data from parent-proxy respondents from the pilot administration of the National Concussion Surveillance System (a random-digit-dial telephone survey with over 10,000 adult respondents) were examined.

Large Bilobed Flap for Head and Neck Reconstruction: Technique and Outcomes.

Background: Head and neck reconstruction after resection of cutaneous malignancies spans the entire reconstructive ladder. Local flaps, such as the bilobed flap, offer excellent versatility, negligible morbidity, and minimal hospitalization. However, there is sparse data regarding the bilobed flap for large defects of the head and neck.
