pH responsive self-assembled supramolecular systems in water hold tremendous promise spanning across the various realms of science and technology. Herein, we report the design and synthesis of benzyl viologen (BV) based amphiphiles and their ability to form pH responsive aggregates with a water soluble anionic dye (electron donor), a polyelectrolyte (PE), and a surfactant. To counter the low solubility of viologen derivatives, β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) was employed as a solubility promoter and the host-guest complexes were characterized by NMR spectroscopy.

Centers for independent living (CILs) and vocational rehabilitation (VR) agencies offer transition services that many youth with disabilities could benefit from, but little is known about the existence of and potential for collaborations between these agencies. In this study, we examined data from VR agencies to assess their relationships with CILs involving transition-age youth at the national and state levels, focusing on two types of collaborations: referrals from CILs to VR agencies and VR youth's use of CIL services. Although many CILs and VR agencies do work together, their relationships vary, and these collaborations reflect only a small fraction of VR youth who are transition age.

Purpose: 4-1BB (CD137) is a costimulatory immune receptor expressed on activated T cells, activated B cells, NK cells, and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, making it a promising target for cancer immunotherapy. Cinrebafusp alfa, a monoclonal antibody-like bispecific protein targeting HER2 and 4-1BB, aims to localize 4-1BB activation to HER2-positive tumors. This study evaluated the safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy of cinrebafusp alfa in patients with previously treated HER2-positive malignancies.
