We report the utilisation of an iodine(III) reagent to access α,β-unsaturated carbonyls from the corresponding silyl enol ethers of ketones and aldehydes, and from enol phosphates of lactones and lactams. The transformation is rapid, scalable, and can be carried out in one pot, directly dehydrogenating saturated carbonyls.

Introduction: The available data for the safety and efficacy of repeat peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) are almost exclusively from European centers. We present an updated experience with repeat PRRT in a cohort of US patients with neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) at our NET center of excellence.

Methods: We used our single-center longitudinal NET registry to identify patients who had been previously treated with at least one dose of PRRT (PRRT 1, either Lu DOTATATE or Y DOTATOC) and following radiographic disease progression were re-treated with a second course of PRRT (PRRT 2).

Unlabelled: This exploratory analysis assessed the incidence of respiratory viral coinfections and their impact on clinical outcomes in non-hospitalized adults with mild-to-moderate coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) treated with molnupiravir versus placebo for 5 days in the Phase 2/3 MOVe-OUT trial (NCT04575597), which took place in October 2020 to January 2021 (Phase 2, = 302) and May 2021 to October 2021 (Phase 3, = 1,433). Among 1,735 total randomized participants, 1,674 had a baseline respiratory pathogen panel (NxTAG Respiratory Pathogen Panel for the Luminex MAGPIX instrument) performed and 69 (4.1%) were coinfected with at least one additional respiratory viral pathogen.

Integrative passive samplers such as the Chemcatcher are often proposed as alternatives for conventional grab sampling of surface waters. So far, their routine application for regulatory monitoring is hampered (among others) by the fact that TWA concentrations may depend significantly on the design and specifics of the samplers employed. The presented study addresses this issue, focusing on the uptake of polar organic pollutants in three different Chemcatcher configurations and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) sheets in the field.
