Various Indigenous communities in Mexico establish their regulatory system according to their customs and traditions. In Chiapas, 27% of the population is Indigenous and has a high adolescent fertility rate. This study analyzes how customs and traditions influence unions and early pregnancies in specific contexts of rural and Indigenous communities.

Given increased demand for D&I research, the CPCRN Scholars Program launched in 2021 to expand the number of practitioners, researchers, and trainees proficient in cancer D&I science methods.

Quantifying source contributions to indoor PM levels by indoor PM sources has been limited by the costs associated with chemical speciation analyses of indoor PM samples. Here, we propose a new methodology to estimate this contribution. We applied FUzzy SpatioTemporal Apportionment (FUSTA) to a database of indoor and outdoor PM concentrations in school classrooms plus surface meteorological data to determine the main spatiotemporal patterns (STPs) of PM.

Its etiology is multifactorial and depends on the characteristics and co-morbidities of the patient, the tumor type and extension, and the oncological treatment. The management of VTE is more complex in patients with cancer due to an increased risk of recurrence and major bleeding complications during anticoagulation compared to the general non-oncological population.
