However, water solubility is a key factor for these applications, and water-soluble gold nanoclusters are often difficult to isolate and susceptible to exchange or oxidation in vivo. Herein, we report the isolation of N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC)-protected atomically precise gold nanoclusters functionalized with triethylene glycol monomethyl ether groups.

Addressing Health Care Disparities and COVID-19: Mental Illness Prevention in Communities of Color.

As the COVID-19 pandemic emerged in March 2020, the New York State Office of Mental Health received funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to implement the agency's Crisis Counseling Assistance and Training Program statewide. Because COVID-19 infections were disproportionately affecting minority communities of color, engagement strategies that prioritized contracting with community agencies that were already well established in the most highly affected racial-ethnic minority neighborhoods were used. This approach to outreach successfully made engagement and counseling support available to Black and Hispanic citizens, at levels significantly exceeding their proportional representation in the state population.

A Novel Playbook for Pragmatic Trial Operations to Monitor and Evaluate Ambient Artificial Intelligence in Clinical Practice.

Background: Ambient artificial intelligence offers promise for improving documentation efficiency and reducing provider burden through clinical note generation. However, challenges persist in workflow integration, compliance, and widespread adoption. This study leveraged a Learning Health System (LHS) framework to align research and operations using a hybrid effectiveness-implementation protocol, embedded as pragmatic trial operations within the electronic health record (EHR).

The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on people living with HIV.

Intro: Public health restrictions were introduced in the UK in March 2021 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of our study was to understand the impact of the disruptions to routine healthcare services among people with HIV during this time and the effect on their engagement with healthcare, social, employment, and relationship networks and mental and physical well-being, to inform advanced planning in the event of future healthcare service disruptions.

Methods: An online survey was conducted, with participants recruited from one HIV clinic and one community organization in England.
