Diseases due to infections by pathogenic Escherichia coli strains are on the rise and with the growing antimicrobial resistance among bacterial pathogens, including this group. Thus, alternative therapeutic options are actively investigated. Among these alternatives is phage therapy.

Such impact is likely to be limited, mainly because of low population densities, and challenging to detect and interpret in terms of cause-effect dynamics. We present high-resolution paleoenvironmental and archaeological data from the Last Interglacial locality of Neumark-Nord (Germany).

Introduction: The study of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the leptin receptor gene (LEPR) based on next generation genomic sequencing (NGS) data is becoming an increasingly important aspect of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of both metabolically healthy (MHO) and metabolically unhealthy obesity (MUO) phenotypes.
Material And Methods: 35 obese children 6-18 years old were examined by the NGS method with bioinformatic analysis. The main group (n = 18) was formed by children with MUO, according to the recommendations of the expert group of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.
An efficient sorbent for magnetic solid-phase extraction was developed from Fe O nanoparticles covered with aminated hypercrosslinked polystyrene. The sorbent has a saturation magnetization of 47 emu/g and a surface area of 509 mg/g and was tested for the extraction of 11 phenols from aqueous media. The optimum conditions were as follows: pH 3; adsorbent mass, 20.

Introduction: To reduce the risk of insulin resistance in obesity in children with lactase gene genotypes, we studied the factors that stimulate the chronic inflammatory process.
Material And Methods: 109 children 6-18 years of age were investigated. The main group (n = 56) was presented by children with signs of insulin-resistant obesity according to the criteria of the European Society of Endocrinology and the Pediatric Endocrine Society.
