Introduction: Pharmacotherapy is a mainstay of treatment for lower limb chronic venous disease (CVD) and its complications. However, therapeutic agents with evidence-based efficacy for the treatment of CVD are limited. Sulodexide (registered as Vessel Due F in Russia) has confirmed therapeutic efficacy in patients with moderately severe or late-stage CVD, but real-world evidence of its use in Russian patients with initial manifestations of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) remains scarce.

At the same time, there are not so many therapeutic agents intended for treatment of CVD and possessing evidence-based efficacy. Sulodexide (registered in Russia as Vessel Due F) is a drug with a confirmed therapeutic effect in patients with a moderately severe course of chronic venous disease or its late stages.

[Ways to improve efficacy of emergency operative interventions in patients with cancer of the left flank of the colon complicated by obstruction].

In order to improve radicalism of emergency surgical interventions an appropriate method of total mesocolonectomy and D3-lymph node dissection in the medial-lateral direction and the principle of "no-touch technique" were used in 14 patients. This technique is safe, effective, does not prolong the duration of operation and postoperative period, is not followed by increased number of complications and lethality.
