Chlamydias are zoonotic pathogens, broadly present in several bird species and responsible for economic losses in animal production. Our study focused on assessing the prevalence of Chlamydial species posing zoonotic risks in farm animals within the highly biodiverse Argentine, Brazil, and Paraguay tri-border area, characterized by significant human interaction. We surveyed nine farms in an area and nasally swabbed a total of 62 animals, that included cattle, horses and pigs.

The two-year multinational randomized controlled LETHE trial evaluates the feasibility of a digitally supported, adapted FINGER intervention among at-risk older adults. Technology is used to complement in-person activities, for the intervention delivery, personalize recommendations, and collect digital biomarkers.

We evaluated preliminary feasibility of a novel, digital, culturally informed approach to recruit and screen participants for the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI4).
Methods: Digital advertising tailored towards Black/African American and Latinx older adults residing near six clinical ADNI sites directed potential participants to a recruitment website (Figure 1).
Background: Recent developments in physiological and digital biomarkers provide an opportunity to shift the first diagnostic steps to the home-setting, thus allowing earlier detection and treatment of Alzheimer's disease (AD). Blood-based, magnetic resonance imaging, electrophysiological, digital and microbiome biomarkers have shown great promise and call for an evaluation of their accuracy, feasibility and safety in primary care and the community. The aim of PREDICTOM is to develop and test the accuracy of an artificial intelligence (AI) driven screening platform for the prediction and early detection of AD and to extend the clinical pathway to home-based screening using established and novel biomarkers.

Previous research with predominantly non-Latinx White participants indicates early functional decline is associated with increased risk and can be effectively evaluated by participants and study partners (SPs). This study aims to understand the association between subjective functional/cognitive decline and objectively-measured cognitive decline in URPs.
