[Characteristics of several indicators of colloid-osmotic homeostasis in middle-aged and aged persons].

Basic indexes of colloid-osmotic homeostasis have been studied in 50 patients. 25 elderly and old patients without surgical pathology have been examined, 25 young healthy persons were controls. It has been found that in elderly patients blood plasma COP tends to decrease, while blood plasma osmolality increases.

[Differential diagnostic criteria of subarachnoid hemorrhage in arterial and arteriovenous aneurysms].

The clinical manifestations of subarachnoidal hemorrhages were investigated in 115 patients with arterial and 32 ones with arteriovenous aneurysms. The patients' histories, their neurologic status, the clinical and laboratory findings obtained were correlated, enabling the authors to specify the picture of subarachnoidal hemorrhages due to some congenital vascular pathology.
