Lagosuchus talampayensis is a small-bodied (~0.5 m long) Late Triassic dinosauriform archosaur from Argentina. Lagosuchus long has been a pivotal taxon for reconstructing the evolution of form and function on the dinosaur lineage.

Burnout Among Physicians of Specialties Dedicated to Liver Transplantation.

Burnout is increasingly relevant among healthcare professionals. The aim of this study is to describe the prevalence of burnout and other parameters of professional satisfaction among different specialists dedicated to Liver Transplantation (LT) in transplant teams. A working group from the Spanish Society of LT designed a survey with 39 questions evaluating the prevalence of parameters related to professional satisfaction, including burnout.

Zoonotic Potential of Chronic Wasting Disease after Adaptation in Intermediate Species.

Chronic wasting disease (CWD) is an emerging disease in Europe. We report an increase in interspecies transmission capacity and zoonotic potential of a moose CWD isolate from Europe after passage in an ovine prion protein-expressing host. Those results indicated some CWD prions could acquire enhanced zoonotic properties following adaptation in an intermediate species.

New preclinical biomarkers for prion diseases in the cerebrospinal fluid proteome revealed by mass spectrometry.

Current diagnostic methods for prion diseases only work in late stages of the disease when neurodegeneration is irreversible. Therefore, biomarkers that can detect the disease before the onset of clinical symptoms are necessary. High-throughput discovery proteomics is of great interest in the search for such molecules.
