Severe cosmetic surgical complications of the labia minora.

Study Objectives: Gynecologists need resources related to labia minora, severe cosmetic surgical complications currently unavailable in the medical literature. Women's requests for genital cosmetic surgery significantly increased within the last two decades; however, the medical literature does not report severe complications and their causes. Therefore, the author hypothesizes that currently used surgical concepts for labia minora reduction are partially responsible for cosmetic surgical debilitating complications.

A novel obstetrical surgical intervention - New episiotomy: Case series study.

Objectives: To establish anatomical structures responsible for creating a resistance force on a fetal head during vaginal delivery at term; to develop a new episiotomy to widen the vaginal outlet.

Design: A prospective observational case series study.

Pelvic Organ Prolapse Quantification (POP-Q) system needs revision or abandonment: The anatomy study.

Objective: To examine the female urogenital hiatus (UGH) and perineal body gross and topographic anatomy; to analyze the POP-Q recommendation for evaluating UGH and PB.

Study Design: A prospective case series study on fifteen fresh human adult female cadavers was conducted in international settings. Stratum-by-stratum, macro-, and micro-anatomical dissections to study the UGH and PB gross-topographic anatomy.

Anatomy of the bulbus vestibuli: A cadaveric study.

Background: To describe the BV anatomy in detail, to compare previous BV descriptions and illustrations to the current study's findings and photograms, to show the BV topographic relation of the BV to the urethral meatus, to document the BV anatomy using photograms.

Methods: Ten fresh human female adult cadavers were used. Stratum-by-stratum anatomical dissections in sagittal, transverse, and coronal planes were performed.
