Background: The time for newborn discharge from the maternity ward has been shortened in recent decades with consequences that are still debated.
Objectives: The primary objective of this study was to establish whether early discharge could be a risk factor for rehospitalization in the neonatal period. Second, we aimed to study the incidence of neonatal hospitalizations and their causes.
Background: Although at the base of the pyramid-shaped organization of the Rwandan health system, community health workers (CHWs) are central to the community-based management of disease outbreaks.
Objective: This mixed methods study aimed to explore the feasibility, acceptability, satisfaction, and challenges of a mobile health (mHealth) tool for community-based COVID-19 screening in Rwanda.
Methods: Two urban (Gasabo and Nyarugenge) and 2 rural (Rusizi and Kirehe) districts in Rwanda participated in the project (smartphone app for COVID-19 screening).
Introduction: The short-term effectiveness of the PRomotion de l'ALIMentation et de l'Activité Physique-INÈgalités de Santé' (PRALIMAP-INÈS) intervention to reduce social inequalities in overweight and obesity management among adolescents between 2012 and 2015 was demonstrated. This longitudinal mixed-methods study is a 10-year postintervention follow-up of the PRALIMAP-INÈS intervention with the aim of investigating social, economic, educational and health (especially weight) trajectories from adolescence to young adulthood.
Methods And Analysis: Among adolescents enrolled in PRALIMAP-INÈS (n=1419), we estimate the number of participants to be 852.
Background: Encouraging adolescents with overweight/obesity to accurately perceive their weight in the belief that this will improve their lifestyle behaviors (physical activity (PA), sedentary behavior (SB), eating behavior (EB)) may be detrimental to their psychological health. This study aimed to investigate associations between weight underestimation and lifestyle behaviors along with psychological health in French adolescents with overweight or obesity.
Method: Baseline data from adolescents who participated in a school-based trial were used.
Rationale & Objective: Recent evidence suggests people with nondialysis chronic kidney disease (ND-CKD) experience a substantial burden of symptoms, but informative large-scale studies have been scarce. We assessed the prevalence of symptoms and the association of overall symptom burden with quality of life in patients with moderate to severe CKD.
Study Design: Cross-sectional study.
