A lump in the throat () is a form of paresthesia of the upper respiratory tract that impairs the quality of life of about 45% of people. This symptom is not pathognomonic for any disease. To improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment of patients with a complaint of a lump in the throat, a comprehensive examination and treatment of 47 patients aged 28 to 75 years were carried out, in which this complaint persisted despite the pathogenetic treatment.
