Background: Little is known about the prevalence and clinical characteristics of tremors in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS), their associated clinical disability, and their impact on quality of life (QoL).
Objective: This study aimed to investigate the frequency and types of tremors in patients with relapsing remitting MS (RRMS) in remission, and their impact on patients' QoL.
Methods: A total of 250 patients with RRMS in remission were examined for tremors.
Background: The NIHSS is used routinely but has drawbacks. One of them is its inefficiency in detecting all signs of posterior circulation strokes. Since its declaration as a possible substitute for NIHSS in posterior circulation strokes in 2016; the expanded NIHSS (e-NIHSS) has not been paid much attention.

Background: Acute stroke management is well-established in developed countries with no gender difference. Yet, in developing countries there are reports on gender disparity in medical services including stroke services. Patients And Methods: We derived the annual number of hospital admissions for TE from the Nationwide Hospital Referral File of the Federal Bureau of Statistics and defined daily doses (DDD) of prescribed anticoagulants in outpatients from reports of the drug information system of the statutory health insurance.
Results: From 2005 to 2017, annual oral anticoagulation (OAC) treatment rates increased by 143.
We have noticed an increase in the number of patients who go through the court-ordered evaluation (COE) process but are not placed on a court-ordered treatment, and who then return to the hospital on another COE petition within one year from their initial discharge. The aim of this study is to examine what factors might be involved in rehospitalization in this population of psychiatric patients. The records of 146 readmitted patients and 146 randomized patients not readmitted were compared for various risk factors.
