COVID-19 vaccines breakthrough infection and adverse reactions in medical students: a nationwide survey in Iran.

Introduction: There are different types of COVID-19 vaccines approved worldwide. Since no national studies focus on vaccine-related adverse reactions and breakthrough cases, this study aimed to investigate the rate of adverse events and COVID-19 infection in medical students in Iran.

Methods: This retrospective cohort study included Iranian medical students who received two doses of COVID-19 vaccines.

Eosinophilic enterocolitis: a case report.

Background: Eosinophilic enterocolitis is a rare disorder characterized by abnormal eosinophilic infiltration of the small intestine and the colon.

Case Presentation: We report a case of a 29-year-old White man, who presented with an acute bowel obstruction. He had a history of a 2 months non-bloody diarrhea.

Burkitt lymphoma (BL) is a highly aggressive non-Hodgkin B-cell lymphoma. It has a doubling time of 24 h. Fortunately, it is highly sensitive to aggressive chemotherapy.

Solitary gastric Peutz-Jeghers polyp: a case report.

Peutz-Jeghers syndrome is an inherited condition that is characterized by mucocutaneous pigmentation and hamartomatous polyposis in the gastrointestinal tract. It increases significantly the risk for developing of several cancers such as breast, colon, rectum, pancreas and stomach. Solitary Peutz-Jeghers polyp is defined as a unique hamartomatous polyp having the same histological features as Peutz-Jeghers syndrome polyps without associated intestinal polyposis, mucocutaneous pigmentation and family history of Peutz-Jeghers syndrome.
