YSiO:Ce, YSiO:Dy, and YSiO:Ce and Dy phosphors were successfully synthesized using the oxalate wet chemical method. Phase purity, emission and excitation spectra, FTIR, and the chromaticity coordinate were adopted to represent the performance of the samples. The photoluminescence (PL) spectrum YSiO:Ce and Dy phosphor shows a broadband in violet-blue region with a bandwidth of nearly 75 nm due to combine effect of Ce-Dy ions with another emission peaks of Dy ions peaking at 574 nm.

The synthesised phosphor was characterised using Fourier-transform infrared, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and photoluminescence measurements. Dy-doped Pb(PO)Br phosphor exhibited blue and yellow emissions at 480 and 573 nm, respectively, on excitation at 388 nm.

The phase formation of the obtained phosphor was analyzed by XRD and the result was confirmed by standard PDF Card No. 1539083.

Crystalline phase of the Ca Zn Al O phosphor was examined and confirmed by X-ray diffraction measurement. Under near-ultraviolet light excitation Eu -doped Ca Zn Al O phosphor exhibit characterization of Eu emission bands that are located at a maximum wavelength (λ ) of approximately 470 nm and other peaks centred at 593 nm and 615 nm, respectively.

The photoluminescence excitation spectra of Sm - and Dy -activated MgCaAl O phosphor show multiple peaks in the ultraviolet light region of the electromagnetic spectrum. The characteristic emission spectra of the MgCaAl O :Sm phosphor are located at 563 nm, 594 nm, and 644 nm, with the maximum emission intensity occurring at 594 nm.
