Spatiotemperal Dynamics of Osteoarthritis: Bridging Insights from Bench to Bedside.

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a multifaceted degenerative joint disorder affected by various risk factors such as age, mechanical stress, inflammation, and metabolic influences. These elements contribute to its diverse phenotypes and endotypes, underscoring the disease's inherent complexity. The involvement of multiple tissues and their interplay further complicates OA's investigation.

[Blinatumomab-based combination treatment for CD19-positive acute leukemia of an ambiguous lineage].

Acute leukemia of ambiguous lineage (ALAL) is a rare type of acute leukemia and is extremely difficult to treat. Here, we present six patients with CD19-positive ALAL who were successfully treated with blinatumomab-based combination treatment in the front-line setting. Five were diagnosed with B-cell/myeloid mixed phenotype acute leukemia (MPAL) and one with B-cell/T cell MPAL.

[Reactivation of cytomegalovirus and its influencing factors in patients with B-lymphocyte malignancy after CAR-T cell therapy].

This study aimed to analyze cytomegalovirus (CMV) reactivation and its influencing factors in patients with B-lymphocyte malignancy who received chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapy. This study retrospectively reviewed patients with B-lymphocyte malignancy who received CAR-T cell therapy in the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from January 2021 to December 2023. The data of patients who underwent CMV-DNA detection and/or pathogen metagenomic sequencing twice or more within 100 days after CAR-T cell therapy were analyzed.

Half-integer topological defects paired via string micelles in polar liquids.

Ferroelectric nematic (N) liquid crystals present a compelling platform for exploring topological defects in polar fields, while their structural properties can be significantly altered by ionic doping. In this study, we demonstrate that doping the ferroelectric nematic material RM734 with cationic polymers enables the formation of polymeric micelles that connect pairs of half-integer topological defects. Polarizing optical microscopy reveals that these string defects exhibit butterfly textures, featured with a 2D polarization field divided by Néel-type kink walls into domains exhibiting either uniform polarization or negative splay and bend deformations.
