The composition of apples is diverse and is represented by various compounds including vitamins. When processing apple fruits into ciders, vitamins take part in numerous biochemical processes and undergo significant changes. of this research was to study the content of vitamins in apple juice and ciders produced from fruits of 30 varieties and forms of apple tree of domestic and foreign selection.

Objective: We examined quantitative (in terms of mtDNA/nuclear DNA) and structural (in terms of common deletions in the MT-ND4 gene region) characteristics of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) in varicose veins (VVs) and venous wall layers by comparing mitochondrial genome parameters, as well as mitochondrial function (in terms of mitochondrial membrane potential (MtMP)), in varicose vein (VV) vs. non-varicose vein (NV) tissue samples.

Methods: We analyzed paired great saphenous vein samples (VV vs.

Magnetic tissue engineering is one of the rapidly emerging and promising directions of tissue engineering and biofabrication where the magnetic field is employed as temporal removal support or scaffold. Iron oxide nanoparticles are used to label living cells and provide the desired magnetic properties. Recently, polymer microcapsules loaded with iron oxide nanoparticles have been proposed as a novel approach to designing magnetic materials with high local concentrations.

MicroRNA extraction is an essential procedure when discovering MicroRNA-based biomarkers and approaches. Here we describe a new method for microRNA isolation from human blood plasma, based on isopropanol precipitation from the one-phase lysate. We demonstrate that the use of more than four volumes of lysis buffer based on 5 M guanidine isothiocyanate prevents the formation of large, viscous, and hardly soluble precipitate.
