Design, Implementation and Validation of a GNSS Measurement Exclusion and Weighting Function with a Dual Polarized Antenna.

Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSSs) have become a ubiquitous tool for our modern society to carry out vital tasks such as transportation, civil engineering or precision agriculture. This breath has reached the realm of safety-critical applications such as time management of critical infrastructures or autonomous vehicles, in which GNSS is an essential tool nowadays. Unfortunately, current GNSS performance is not enough to fulfill the requirements of these professional and critical applications.

The dual-mode dipole: A new array element for 7T body imaging with reduced SAR.

Purpose: To design and test an RF-coil based on two orthogonal eigenmodes in a pair of coupled dipoles, for 7 Tesla body imaging with improved SAR, called dual-mode dipole.

Methods: The proposed coil consists of two dipoles and creates two orthogonal field distributions in a sample (the even and odd modes). A coupler used to excite the modes was miniaturized with the conductor track routing technique.

[Mechanisms of tubulo-interstitial tissue lesions of the kidneys in chronic glomerulonephritis].

The paper is concerned with a study into the mechanisms of renal interstitial lesions of the secondary character seen in patients afflicted with chronic glomerulonephritis. 120 patients with mesangioproliferative and membranous proliferative glomerulonephritis were examined. The patients were distributed into groups depending on the disease acuity, the degree of glomerular sclerosis and the disease stage.
