Introduction: Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the major global health challenges and concerns. Despite the availability of effective treatment in Malaysia, it remained a consistently high notification rate of TB cases. The objective of this study was to determine the proportion of successful TB treatment outcomes and its determinants among TB with comorbidities patients in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.

Background Objectives: Dengue is now endemic in over 100 countries, with Asia bearing over 70% of the global burden. In Malaysia, dengue cases have increased dramatically, particularly in Pulau Pinang, where cases rose from 1,621 in 2022 to 7,343 in 2023. To examine factors associated with dengue outbreaks in Pulau Pinang in 2023 by comparing outbreak cases with single cases.

Subjective and objective financial toxicity among colorectal cancer patients: a systematic review.

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer type worldwide. Colorectal cancer treatment costs vary between countries as it depends on policy factors such as treatment algorithms, availability of treatments and whether the treatment is government-funded. Hence, the objective of this systematic review is to determine the prevalence and measurements of financial toxicity (FT), including the cost of treatment, among colorectal cancer patients.
