Constructing artificial tertiary lymphoid structures (TLSs) opens new avenues for advancing cancer immunotherapy and personalized medicine by creating controllable immune niches. Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) offer an ideal stromal source for such constructs, given their potent immunomodulatory abilities and accessibility. In this study, we explored the potential of adipose-derived MSCs to adopt TLS-supportive phenotypes and facilitate lymphocyte organization.

Unlabelled: To date, the optimal therapeutic and diagnostic strategy in patients with simultaneous clinical manifestations of degenerative cervical spine disease and upper-extremity nerve compression is still unclear.
Objective: To analyze the results of simultaneous surgical interventions in patients with cervical radiculopathy combined with distal peripheral compression-induced ischemic neuropathy.
Material And Methods: We retrospectively studied postoperative outcomes in 23 patients with two-level degenerative cervical spine disease with radiculopathy and peripheral nerve compression (cubital canal, Guyon's canal or carpal tunnel syndromes).
Unlabelled: is to assess the effectiveness of a new neuroanesthetic protocol for treating degenerative lumbar spine diseases in high-risk patients.
Materials And Methods: Two groups of patients with a high risk of anesthesia and surgery determined by the authors' clinical decision support system (CDSS) have been prospectively studied. A new neuroanesthetic protocol was used in the experimental group (EG, n=25), while the control group (CG, n=25) underwent intravenous anesthesia based on propofol and fentanyl.

The dorsopathy is among of common causes of restriction of human life activity, affecting one's working capacity and quality of life. The purpouse of the study was to carry out comparative analysis of dorsopathy and spondylopathy morbidity of adult population in the Russian Federation and the Subjects of the Northern-West Federal Okrug in dynamics in 2013-2022. The statistical data of the Federal State Budget Institution "The Central Research Institute for Health Organization and Informatics of Minzdrav of Russia" was used.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTropical regions, particularly those with high levels of endemism such as South America, harbor a diverse array of amphibian species. However, these regions often lack specific regulations governing the release of emerging contaminants, including the surfactant nonylphenol ethoxylate (NPE), into water bodies, which can have devastating consequences for these sensitive ecosystems. This study evaluated the sublethal effects of 16-day subchronic exposure to NPE at an environmentally relevant concentration of 30 µg/L on American bullfrog (Lithobates catesbeianus) tadpoles using multiple endpoints, including biometric parameters, antioxidant responses, oxidative stress biomarkers, heart rate, and myocardial contractility.
