Papillary cystadenocarcinoma is a rare lesion of the pancreas. A case is reported in a 38-year old female where radical resection of an extensive lesion resulted in a four-year survival without evidence of recurrence.

Injection of 200-400 syngeneic pancreatic islets isolated by collagenase digestion into the pancreas or submandibular gland of diabetic rats rendered most of the hosts nearly normoglycaemic. Blood glucose determinations were monitored for 2 months after islet transplantation.

Lymphatic cysts of the retroperitoneal space among the rarest abdominal tumors. A very small number, usually single case reports, has been reported in the international literature. Symptoms vary according to the tumor size but usually are minimal so that they are discovered by chance, either during an ordinary abdominal examination or because the patient complains of discomfort due to the pressure of the cyst on adjacent organs and tissues.
