Development of control system for a complex technological object using fuzzy behavior charts.

The cement kiln, which is the basic control object of represented work, is the most power consumption unit of the cement production. The wet production method provides a better quality of output clinker in north placed countries because of raw sources, which are already wet, and characteristics of Portland cement. However, there is one big problem standing against efficiency and concurrence with dry or semi-dry methods, there are no modeling algorithms and automated control systems for such an object.

Pulmonary alveolar proteinosis: a long way to correct diagnosis: problems of diagnostics and therapy in routine practice.

Pulmonary Alveolar Proteinosis is a rare disease with unknown etiology that is due to an abnormal surfactant metabolism. Retrospective analysis of a consecutive series of 68 patients with PAP who were seen at Pulmonology Clinic of Pavlov State Medical University from 1977-2013 was performed. The mean time since first abnormalities were found until diagnosis establishment was 34 months.

[Primary bronchial melanoma].

The paper describes 4 cases of primary bronchial melanoma. The primacy of the tumor was established in all cases, by ruling out primary melanoma at another site (skin, nasal mucosae, and bowel), the presence of intraepithelial melanocytic proliferation in the areas of the metaplastic bronchial epithelium.

[Surgical treatment of primary malignant tumors of the trachea].

The authors have performed 18 circular resections of the trachea (CRT) for adenocystic cancer and typical carcinoid. In 10 of these patients more than 5 cm of the tracheal segment were ablated. Postoperative radiotherapy was made on 8 patients with adenocystic cancer with lengthy CRT.

[Treatment of the extensive cicatricial stenoses of the upper third of trachea].

Treatment tactics in patients with the extensive cicatricial stenoses of the upper third of tracheа were thoroughly analyzed. Circular resections of trachea was performed in 51 cases, 18 of those were supplemented with the distal laryngeal resection. Combination of the endoscopic treatment (tracheal bouginage and laser stenosis dissection or tracheal recanalization) and circular resection of the trachea was performed in 23 patients.
