Innovation in clean energy from man-made wind and small-wind generation.

The need to reduce global emissions leads us to look for various sources of clean energy. In recent decades, wind technology has advanced significantly, enabling large-scale power generation in both marine and terrestrial environments, as well as the development of mini-wind solutions. However, we often underestimate the capacity of certain human activities and production processes to generate clean energy, wasting their true potential.

SUFU-associated Gorlin syndrome: Expanding the spectrum between classic nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome and multiple hereditary infundibulocystic basal cell carcinoma.

Basal cell nevus syndrome (BCNS), also known as Gorlin syndrome, is characterized by an aberrant activation of the hedgehog (Hh) pathway, most cases being caused by PTCH1 mutations. However, certain features such as multiple hereditary infundibulocystic basal cell carcinomas (MHIBCC), sclerotic fibromas, childhood medulloblastoma or meningioma may be relatively specific to a SUFU mutation. We present two patients with MHIBCC, along with a more complex cutaneous and extracutaneous phenotype.

[Papular mycosis fungoides in elderly: Report of two cases].

Papular mycosis fungoides (MF) is an uncommon clinical variant of early MF without prognostic implications that follows an indolent course over years. It is characterized by the presence of multiple, small, pruritic, flat-topped, erythematous papules, often presenting as a nonspecific papular eruption which makes early diagnosis difficult. We describe two cases of elderly patients with papular MF, a probably underdiagnosed entity, which causes a significant deterioration in quality of life of patients who may benefit from specific treatments such as phototherapy.
