From inspiration to restoration: Moral elevation as a catalyst for improving intergroup relations in contexts of conflict.

Existing research examining the creation of positive and prosocial interpersonal relations has established moral elevation as an approach-oriented emotion to be associated with a range of positive and prosocial outcomes. In this article and with the goal to identify emotional mechanism for improving intergroup relations in contexts of conflict, we examined the effects of moral elevation on enhancing relations. Across four experimental studies (s = 1,131), conducted in four understudied countries directly affected or threatened by intergroup conflict, we demonstrated that induced moral elevation elicits important cognitive and emotional shifts toward adversarial groups, resulting in improved intergroup relations.

Clearance of therapeutic antibody glycoforms after subcutaneous and intravenous injection in a porcine model.

A relatively low clearance is one of the prominent favorable features of immunoglobulin G1-based therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs). Various studies have observed differential clearance of mAb glycoforms, including oligomannose glycoforms, which are considered a critical quality attribute because they show higher clearance than complex type glycoforms. Glycoform clearance, however, has not previously been studied after subcutaneous injection or in a porcine model system.

Glycosylation of IgG Associates with Hypertension and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Comorbidity in the Chinese Muslim Ethnic Minorities and the Han Chinese.

Objectives: Hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus comorbidity (HDC) is common, which confers a higher risk of cardiovascular disease than the presence of either condition alone. Describing the underlying glycomic changes of immunoglobulin G (IgG) that predispose individuals to HDC may help develop novel protective immune-targeted and anti-inflammatory therapies. Therefore, we investigated glycosylation changes of IgG associated with HDC.

ICT in teaching for children with intellectual disabilities.

The impact of information and communication technologies (ICT) is increasing in teaching, and practice shows that there is a need for individual work in the educational process. This paper gives an analysis of the attitudes of teachers about the use of ICT as a means for individualizing teaching in regular and special primary schools. The results showed that teachers' attitudes toward ICT as a way of individualization are positive, but they are more pronounced among teachers from special primary schools.

Replication of 15 loci involved in human plasma protein N-glycosylation in 4802 samples from four cohorts.

Human protein glycosylation is a complex process, and its in vivo regulation is poorly understood. Changes in glycosylation patterns are associated with many human diseases and conditions. Understanding the biological determinants of protein glycome provides a basis for future diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
