The COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated a need for robust SARS-CoV-2 test evaluation infrastructure to underpin biosecurity and protect the population during a pandemic health emergency. The first generation of rapid antigen tests was less accurate than molecular methods due to their inherent sensitivity and specificity shortfalls, compounded by the consequences of self-testing. This created a need for more accurate point-of-care SARS-CoV-2 detection methods.

Mathematical (Math) problem solving is one of the most important cortical processes, but it is still far from being well understood. EEG is an inexpensive and simple indirect measure of brain operation, but only recently has low-cost equipment (mobile EEG) allowed sophisticated analyses in non-clinical settings.

Many studies have suggested that Blastocystis parasites are pathogenic protozoan parasites and one study proposed that these parasites have contributed to anaemia in children. The primary objective of the present study was to made a comparison between healthy control subjects (group 1), Blastocystis-positive subjects (group 2), subjects with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) who were Blastocystis-negative (group 3), and IBS patients who were Blastocystispositive (group 4) regarding the haematological indices. From each participant, blood has been collected and the complete blood count (CBC) has been measured.

Background: Antitachycardia pacing (ATP) is an established implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) therapy that terminates ventricular tachycardias (VTs) without painful ICD shocks. However, factors influencing ATP success are not well understood.
