CT-guided adaptive radiotherapy (ART) for the treatment of pancreatic adenocarcinoma is rapidly increasing and has been shown to provide advanced treatment tools comparable to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-guided adaptive therapy. Here, we provide the first case report of a local pancreatic recurrence treatment after definitive resection using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT)-guided ART (CT-guided ART) enabled by HyperSight imaging (Varian Medical Systems, Inc., Palo Alto, CA, USA) for daily delineation of organs-at-risk (OARs) and target to improve the quality of online ART.

Many stakeholders are applying the lessons of Covid-19 to future emergencies, by advancing early-stage development of prototype vaccines to accelerate response to the next emerging infectious disease, and by building regional vaccine research, development, and manufacturing capacity to speed equitable access to vaccines in the next emergency. Recent vaccine licensures include: respiratory syncytial virus vaccines, both for the elderly and to protect infants through maternal immunization; a new dengue virus vaccine; and licensure of Covid-19 vaccines previously marketed under emergency use authorizations.

The full spectrum of clinical features and genotype-phenotype correlations is currently not fully understood. We performed a retrospective chart review of patients with KLEFS evaluated at the Boston Children's Hospital Kleefstra Clinic.

Enhancing tumor cell sensitivity to treatment by inhibiting autophagy is essential for effective cancer therapy. Our study, analyzing data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) public database, HCC cell lines, and liver cancer tissue samples, found that miR-22-3p is expressed at low levels in HCC and is significantly associated with clinicopathological features and patient prognosis.

Selenium (Se) is recognized for mitigating heavy metal toxicity, though its protective effects against Cd in aquatic crustaceans remain underexplored. This study, therefore, assessed the effects of dietary Cd (15 mg/kg) exposure and Se (6 mg/kg) supplementation on the hepatopancreas and ovaries of female crayfish to uncover the mechanisms of Cd toxicity and the protective role of Se.
