Background: Epidermal growth factor receptor 4 (ERBB4) and neuregulin 4 (NRG4) have been shown to reduce steatosis and prevent the development of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis in mouse models, but little to nothing is known about their role in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in humans. This study is the first to investigate the expression of and mRNAs and their role in lipid metabolism in the livers of individuals with obesity, type 2 diabetes and biopsy-proven NAFLD.

Methods: Liver biospecimens were obtained intraoperatively from 80 individuals.

Monocytes play a key role in the development of metabolic syndrome, and especially obesity. Given the complex features of their development from progenitor cells, whose regulation is mediated by their interactions with bone marrow adipocytes, the importance of a detailed study of the heterogeneous composition of monocytes at the molecular and systemic levels becomes clear. Research argues for monocytes as indicators of changes in the body's metabolism and the possibility of developing therapeutic strategies to combat obesity and components of metabolic syndrome based on manipulations of the monocyte compound of the immune response.

Obese individuals are at high risk for developing type 2 diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. The aim of this review was to analyze the scientific literature and databases to reveal the fundamental role of neuregulin 4 (NRG4) and its receptors in the development of obesity-associated metabolic disorders. This review demonstrates that NRG4 and its receptors are promising therapeutic targets for the treatment of socially significant obesity-associated pathologies.

Objective: The aim: This article aims to show the role of local budgets in financing health care in communities, and to initiate a discussion on the possibility of expanding powers of local government bodies in the sphere of health care.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: This study is based on the normative acts of the Republic of Poland and Ukraine, conclusions, reports of the Regional Chambers of Audit (Regionalnych Izb Obrachunkowych) in the Republic of Poland, OECD Indicators and budget gminas. Dialectical, comparative, analytical methods and the method of system analysis were used.

For a partial differential field , we show that the triviality of the first differential Galois cohomology of every linear differential algebraic group over is equivalent to being algebraically, Picard-Vessiot, and linearly differentially closed. This cohomological triviality condition is also known to be equivalent to the uniqueness up to an isomorphism of a Picard-Vessiot extension of a linear differential equation with parameters.
