It has been claimed that video gamers possess increased perceptual and cognitive skills compared to non-video gamers. Here, we examined to which extent gaming performance in CS:GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive) correlates with visual performance. We tested 94 players ranging from beginners to experts with a battery of visual paradigms, such as visual acuity and contrast detection.

Traces of parent polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in fish whole gall bladders and livers from the Natural Reserve of Camargue were determined from three different species: cels, goldfishes and catfishes by capillary gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS) after Soxhlet extraction and florisil column cleanup. Results have been successfully correlated with biological fish parameters in order to identify adequate biomarkers of PAHs contamination.

Dimethyl ether chemical ionization mass spectrometry of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) leads to [M + 13](+) and [M + 45](+) ions. The process leading to these ions is sensitive to the proton affinity of the PAH. Collision-induced dissociation observations on [M + 45](+) ion also show that tetracene has a peculiar reactivity in comparison with perylene, despite the similar physico-chemical properties of these two molecules.

Local recurrence after conservative or enlarged surgery for breast carcinoma, or primary chest wall's tumors should first be approached surgically, chimio- and radiotherapy being used only later on. A precise local and general evaluation has to be made first, trying to determine whether there is or not an invasion of bony structures. When they are free of tumor, regional transfer of musculocutaneous flaps can usually cover the defect (latissimus dorsi, 1-2 rectus abdomini, pectoralis major); great omentum is used when this defect is too large.
