Gardner's syndrome is a rare variant of the Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP) in which affected individuals develop thousands of polyps within the gastrointestinal tract, with a 100 % risk of eventual malignant change. They also have a variety of extraintestinal abnormalities - various soft and hard tissues tumors like fibroma, osteoma, epidermoid cysts, sebaceous cysts on the scalp. Gardner's syndrome is an autosomal dominant disease, caused by mutations in APC ( adenomatous polyposis coli ) gene, which is located in chromosomal locus 5q21- q22.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the possibilities of diagnostic flexible hysteroscopy for women with irregular uterine bleeding. The study was based on 569 women aged between 26 and 72 years (mean age 46.78 years) with weak to moderate irregular uterine bleeding who had given agreement for invasive investigations.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of the colposcopically directed biopsy of cytologically signalized women. Retrospectively were analyzed sixty women aged between 20 and 69 (mean 37.4), to whom was performed colposcopically directed biopsy and consequent in the interval of no more than 3 months extended excision (to 30 of them--surgical conisation and to another 30--LLETZ/LEEP).
