Purpose: There are concerns regarding cosmetic outcomes of 3-dimensional conformal accelerated partial breast radiation therapy (3DCRT APBI). Associations between cosmetic outcomes and treatment parameters or receipt of adjuvant systemic therapy were sought to guide 3DCRT APBI.

Purpose: To evaluate the influence of recently performed cataract phacoemulsification in glaucomatous eyes on postoperative intraocular pressure (IOP).

Material And Methods: 100 eyes of 86 glaucoma patients who underwent cataract phacoemulsification with simultaneous intraocular lens implantation, were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into two groups: I--61 patients (71 eyes) with open angle glaucoma, and II--25 patients (29 eyes) with angle closure glaucoma.

Purpose: To compare ultrasound time, quality and quantity of intraoperative complications together with the eye condition in early postoperative period in patients who underwent "divide and conquer" and "stop and chop" cataract phacoemulsification.

Material And Methods: "Divide and conquer" phacoemulsification was performed in 49 eyes, whereas "stop and chop" technique in 67 eyes. Before surgery axial lengths of the eye, anterior chamber depth and pupillary reflex were measured.

Purpose: To compare patient's pain and surgeon's comfort during ECCE performed under retrobulbar anesthesia and phacoemulsification under topical anesthesia.

Material And Methods: 120 patients scheduled for planned routine cataract extraction were divided in 2 groups: group 1-60 eyes, ECCE under retrobulbar anesthesia and group II-60 eyes, phacoemulsification under topical anesthesia. Immediately after operation patients were asked, to answer questions about their feeling during surgery.

A case of 37-year-old man with tuberous sclerosis is presented. Classic triad (Vogt) which consists of mental handicap, epilepsy and adenoma sebaceum around a nose and cheeks was observed. Ophthalmoscopy showed bilateral retinal astrocytomas with mulberrylike appearance.
