Background: Statin intolerance is a key barrier to the effective prevention of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). Experts do not agree on what it is and how to respond to this problem clinically.
Objective: To characterize the range of expert recommendations about the care of patients with statin intolerance.
Borderline ovarian tumors or atypical proliferative tumors are abnormal cells that arise from ovarian epithelium in contrast to ovarian cancers which form from stroma, the supportive tissue of ovaries. They are not invasive and tend to grow slowly. Many patients with BOTs are asymptomatic, while others have nonspecific symptoms like abdominal pain or abdominal distension.

Patient fidelity to treatment regimens may be related to their knowledge of the risk of death following AMI, the pros and cons of medications, and to their involvement in treatment decisions.
