Efficiently targeting neuroblastoma with the combination of anti-ROR1 CAR NK cells and N-803 and in NB xenografts.

The prognosis for children with recurrent and/or refractory neuroblastoma (NB) is dismal. The receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1 (ROR1), which is highly expressed on the surface of NB cells, provides a potential target for novel immunotherapeutics. Anti-ROR1 chimeric antigen receptor engineered expanded peripheral blood natural killer (anti-ROR1 CAR exPBNK) cells represent this approach.

Longitudinal study of inflammation and relapse in schizophrenia.

Introduction: The clinical course of schizophrenia is often characterized by recurrent relapses. Blood inflammatory markers are altered in acute psychosis, and may be state markers for illness relapse in schizophrenia. Few studies have investigated longitudinal, intra-individual changes in inflammatory markers as a predictor of relapse.

Continuation Electroconvulsive Therapy for Patients With Clozapine-Resistant Schizophrenia: A Pilot Study.

Objectives: The risk of relapse after a successful acute course of treatment is a clinical challenge in electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) practice, particularly in patients with a history of marked resistance to previous treatments. Research suggests that a gradual decrease of ECT or its long-term continuation might be the best strategy. Notwithstanding, current studies do not address the role of continuation ECT in the truly refractory cases, that is, the clozapine-resistant patients.
