Prospective Comparison of Thulium and Holmium Laser Lithotripsy for the Treatment of Upper Urinary Tract Lithiasis.

Background: Lithotripsy with holmium:yttrium-aluminum-garnet (Ho:YAG) laser is the current gold standard for treating stones of the upper urinary tract (UUT). The recently introduced thulium fiber laser (TFL) has the potential to be more efficient and as safe as Ho:YAG.

Objective: To compare the performance and complications between Ho:YAG and TFL for UUT lithotripsy.

Glymphatic System Dysfunction and Sleep Disturbance May Contribute to the Pathogenesis and Progression of Parkinson's Disease.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a multisystem alpha-synucleinopathic neurodegenerative disease and the most prevalent neurodegenerative disorder after Alzheimer's disease with a high incidence rate in the elderly population. PD is highly multifactorial in etiology and has complex and wide-ranging pathogenic mechanisms. Environmental exposures and genetic predisposition are prominent risk factors.

Performance accuracy, advantages and limitations of a store-and-forward teledermatology platform developed for general practitioners: A retrospective study of 298 cases.

Background: Store-and-forward (SAF) tele-dermatology (TD) platforms could help promote coordination between hospital and general practitioners (GPs). However, very little data exists on the performance accuracy and opinions of GPs participating in this type of project in France.

Methods: We report on the diagnostic and management plan accuracy of an SAF-TD platform developed for neighbouring GPs around our hospital compared with routine face-to-face (FTF) dermatological consultation in our department.

Background: Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are common and diverse. Even when not severe, UTIs regularly lead to hospitalization, but their hospital burden remains unknown. This study aimed to estimate the national incidence of hospitalized UTIs in France.

Prostate cancer detection by targeted prostate biopsy using the 3D Navigo system: a prospective study.

Purpose: The 3D Navigo™ system is a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) fusion device for prostate targeted biopsies (TB). Our aim was to evaluate the clinically significant prostate cancer (CSC) detection rate of TB using the 3D Navigo™ system.

Methods: Patients who underwent TB with the 3D Navigo™ system in our center between June 2014 and May 2018 were prospectively included, excluding those who have previously received treatment for prostate cancer.
