The review is devoted to news facts in support of the conception advanced by R.E. Kavetsky and others scientists on the possibility of normalization of malignant cell properties due to differentiation increase of these cells under the effect of different inducers.

These proteins were shown to complete for the receptor with [125I]EGF (epidermal growth factor) on A431 cells. The 8 kD protein exhibited a marked mitogenic effect by stimulating DNA synthesis in resting NIH 3T3 cells.

The cells have been passed more than 40 times (about 160 doublings) without reaching the critical stage. Their growth is substrate- and concentration-dependent.

The maximal effect was recorded 24 h after co-incubation. As 0.
