Graduate nurses are now comprehensively prepared in Australia and have limited mental health knowledge and experiences to work in acute mental health settings. As such, graduate nurses would need the support that they can get from their respective mental health services to progress from novice to advanced beginner. Nursing education is an important support for graduate nurses to develop the knowledge and skills required for them to transition successfully into acute mental health settings.

Epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is important early in metastasis to enable cancer cells to detach from neighboring cells, become migratory, and escape the primary tumor. While different phases of metastasis expose cells to variable nutrient environments and demands, the metabolic requirements and plasticity of each step are uncertain.

Enterobactin (Ent) is a well-known secreted iron-scavenging siderophore made by bacteria to fetch iron from the host or environment. Little was known about a positive role of Ent until a recent discovery in the nematode indicated a beneficial role of Ent in promoting mitochondrial iron level in the animal intestine.

The principal function of this highly conserved molecule involves presenting microbial metabolites to the abundant mucosal-associated invariant T (MAIT) cell subset. Recent developments suggest that the role of MR1 extends to presenting antigens from cancer cells, a function dependent on the K43 residue in the MR1 antigen binding cleft.
