Unlabelled: The prevalence of temporomandibular disorder (TMD) in patients with (dentofacial deformities) DFD is high, indicating a multifaceted relationship between physical and psychosocial factors.
Objective: To identify clusters of patients with DFD based on variables related to TMD, psychological aspects, somatization, oral habits, and sleep.
Method: Ninety-two patients with DFD were evaluated before orthognathic surgery according to demographic data, facial profile, presence of painful TMD (DC/TMD), psychological aspects, oral habits, comorbidities, substance use, and sleep quality.
Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is characterized by complex secondary injury processes involving the p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR), which has been proposed as a possible therapeutic target. However, the pathogenic role of the p75NTR co-receptor sortilin in TBI has not been investigated. In this study, we examined whether sortilin contributes to acute and early processes of secondary injury using a murine controlled cortical impact (CCI) model of TBI.

They are particularly appealing for waste-to-hydrogen and waste-to-chemicals applications, with autothermal steam-oxygen gasification in fluidized bed reactors showing the greatest market potential. The study describes a series of experimental tests carried out on a large pilot-scale fluidized bed gasifier, using steam and O-enriched air, with increasing fractions of oxygen.
