Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic stressed the necessity of a new resilience of the human population and health system. The "WeCare Generation" program is a new proposal of territorial intervention, with a new paradigm, on the diseases of the human body and mind.
Background: In recent decades, the independent strands of investigation on brain plasticity and early trauma consequences have demonstrated that traumatic experiences in the period from pregnancy to the age of 3 years have an enormous impact on an individual's future development, and both physical and mental health.
Recognizing the links between childhood trauma and delinquency, many juvenile delinquency systems now emphasize trauma-informed care. This commentary examines established and emerging research on childhood trauma among American Indian and Alaska Native children and contrasts the development and implementation of "trauma-informed" approaches in state and tribal juvenile systems. It identifies three key innovations present in tribal models and calls for further research to identify best practices that work for Native children and tribal communities.

Although it is generally agreed that having control over a moving vehicle greatly reduces the likelihood of motion sickness, few studies have addressed this issue directly, and the theoretical explanation for this phenomenon is not completely clear. In this study, we equated groups differing in controllability for head movement, vision, activity, and predictability, which have often been suggested in the literature as explanations for the driver's immunity to motion sickness.

It is generally agreed that the incidence of motion sickness in sailors working below deck is higher than in sailors who have the horizon as a visual reference on the bridge. This study investigated the possible beneficial effect of a projected artificial horizon as a means to prevent seasickness. Twelve subjects were exposed to angular motion in a tilting room under three experimental conditions: a) With the windows covered, allowing no visual reference from the outside world; b) With the windows uncovered, thus allowing a partial view of the environment; and c) With the windows covered and a horizon projected on the walls by a rotating laser beam.
