[The actual possibilities of robotic microscopy in analysis automation and laboratory telemedicine].

The article discusses the possibilities of automation microscopy complexes manufactured by Cellavision and MEKOS to perform the medical analyses of blood films and other biomaterials. The joint work of the complex and physician in the regimen of automatic load stages, screening, sampling and sorting on types with simple morphology, visual sorting of sub-sample with complex morphology provides significant increase of method sensitivity, load decrease and enhancement of physician work conditions. The information technologies, the virtual slides and laboratory telemedicine included permit to develop the representative samples of rare types and pathologies to promote automation methods and medical research targets.

[Robotized microscopy introduces the test quality standard for blood smears].

The authors consider recommendations on blood smear microscopic tests, possibilities of implementing these recommendations when manual microscopy and automatic microscopy complexes (AMC) are used. Whether one may switch over from the recommendations to the quality standard implemented in practice when AMCs are applied is discussed. Conditions for effectively using AMC models with different functions, performance, and cost are considered.

The authors herein share their experience gained in comprehensive treatment of patients diagnosed with lower-limb varicose disease treated by means of one the most state-of-the-art technologies, i. e., radiofrequency ablation.

[Condition of erythrocytes in intact and vagotomized rats of various age after massive hemorrhage].

Sharp massive hemorrhage (30-35 % of total amount of blood) in rats are accompanied by natural changes of morpho-functional characteristics of erythrocytes: diameter, the area, polarization, the factor of the form, integrated and specific optical density. Thus, in certain terms, after hemorrhage at young initially intact animals average diameter, the area, integrated optical density actually increase as well as the value of polarization and the factor of the form of erythrocytes growth. In vagotomized rats of the same age group, in reply to hemorrhage, the increase in value of the factor of the form only is obvious.
