Breast cancer (BC) is a multifactorial disease where microRNA (miRNA)-mediated dysregulated gene expression plays a pivotal role in tumorigenesis, progression, and clinical outcomes. Genetic variation, particularly SNPs in miRNA sequences and the 3' untranslated regions (3'UTRs) of their target genes, can disrupt miRNA-mRNA interactions, leading to altered gene expression. Despite several existing databases providing insights into various aspects of miRNAs and their target genes in association with the development of the disease.

Depression is a multifactorial disorder that occurs mainly on account of the dysregulation of neuroplasticity, neurotransmission and neuroinflammation in the brain. In addition to environmental /lifestyle factors, the pathogenesis of disease has been associated with genetic and epigenetic factors that affect the reprogramming of normal brain function. MicroRNA (miRNAs), a type of non-coding RNAs, are emerging as significant players that play a vital role in the regulation of gene expression and have been extensively explored in neurodegenerative disorders.

Given the high risk of Internet of Things (IoT) device compromise, it is crucial to discuss the attack detection aspect. However, due to the physical limitations of IoT, such as battery life and sensing and processing power, the widely used detection techniques, such as signature-based or anomaly-based detection, are quite ineffective. This research extracted loop-based cases from the transmission session dataset of "CTU-IoT-Malware-Capture-7-1" ("Linux, Mirai") and implemented a loop-based detection machine learning approach.

Article Synopsis
  • Anaphylactic shock is a serious condition triggered by allergens, but there is a general lack of awareness about its risks and management, particularly in the western region of Saudi Arabia.
  • A survey conducted from January to June 2024 involved 501 participants, revealing that while many recognize the danger of anaphylaxis, knowledge about its symptoms and treatment options, such as epinephrine, is low.
  • The results underscore the necessity for public awareness campaigns aimed at improving understanding and preparedness for anaphylactic emergencies.
