Introduction: Prediction models are increasingly being used to guide clinical decision making in primary care. There is a lack of evidence exploring the views of patients and general practitioners (GPs) in primary care around their use and implementation. We aimed to better understand the perspectives of GPs and people with lived experience of depression around the use of prediction models and communication of risk in primary care.

Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) travel through the vasculature to seed secondary sites and serve as direct precursors of metastatic outgrowth for many solid tumors. Heterotypic cell clusters form between CTCs and white blood cells (WBCs) and recent studies report that a majority of these WBCs are neutrophils in patient and mouse models. Flowerlike Spreading of Micellar Films during Emulsion Drop Evaporation.

We investigated the film spreading during the evaporation of submillimeter oil-in-water emulsion droplets on a solid surface, and observed a novel phenomenon where the film follows a two-layer spreading. In combination with the instability at the film front, the spreading front acquires a flowerlike pattern. The emergence of the two-layer structure is attributed to micelles within the oil film that yield an oscillating disjoining pressure.

Development and validation of a prognostic model to predict relapse in adults with remitted depression in primary care: secondary analysis of pooled individual participant data from multiple studies.

Background: Relapse of depression is common and contributes to the overall associated morbidity and burden. We lack evidence-based tools to estimate an individual's risk of relapse after treatment in primary care, which may help us more effectively target relapse prevention.
