Objectives: To examine if point-of-care urine tenofovir testing-informed counseling could be used to improve virologic suppression (VS) among participants with virologic failure (VF) after ≥1 prior round of enhanced adherence counseling (EAC).

Methods: Participants were enrolled from 42 clinics across Namibia. At each monthly medication pick-up, participants completed the point-of-care urine test and received EAC informed by this testing (EAC+).

Graduating competent veterinarians with the appropriate knowledge and skills to support and strengthen their country's National Veterinary Services is a key priority for veterinary institutions globally. The World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) developed a set of Day 1 Competencies that should be expected of every veterinary graduate. Veterinary schools need to be able to assess the coverage of these competencies in their curriculum and determine the level of proficiency of their graduates.

Hair burning unhairing and dampening of tannery wastes during the hair-saving unhairing process are becoming significant problems in the tanning industry. Therefore, this research article focuses on the extraction of keratin hydrolysate (KH) and its application as a chrome exhaust aid and keratin filler in leather manufacturing process. The structure, morphology and functional groups of the extract were examined using X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR), respectively.

A cross-sectional study was conducted from November 2021 to June 2022 in Wolaita Sodo Town, to detect Methicillin-resistant (MRSA) in raw cow's milk and assess their resistance levels to different antimicrobials. Purposive sampling was used to select 34 dairy farms.
