The data are presented on 788 patients with varicocele and impairment of spermatogenesis. All the patients were divided into two groups. Group 1 consisted of 240 patients not examined with ultrasound dopplerography who had undergone Ivanissevich operation with estimation of spermatogenesis before and 12 months after the operation.
